Sorry for the slightly delayed blog post everybody but building snowmen and igloos took priority today ❄️☺️
It was lovely to welcome back P2/3 last week and hear of their long weekend adventures. We started off with some co-operative work in the form of inventing space vehicles!
Our budding young engineers donned their thinking caps and worked together to make rockets, UFO’s, moon buggies and even the International Space Station! Take a look below…

We also had Chromebook buddies with P6/7 where we learned how to access apps and download them onto the Chromebook. The children chose some really cool apps that involved problem solving and word building and that was without direction from me…proud teacher right here! ☺️

We finished off our week celebrating “the good” and thinking about how we can go forward from “the bad”. We love to round up our week by talking about things that made us happy and also about things that didn’t go to plan and how we can tackle those situations next time.
My heart melted and I had the biggest smile on my face when I got told “Miss Barclay… “M” made my heart shine bright this week because she is so nice to me.” 😍😍😍 We also love it when children who are not so confident, feel happy enough to come and share their successes with us…

Happy children, happy teacher, happy week. ☺️
