P2/3 have been tying up some loose ends on their shape topic in maths recently.
P3 were challenged to name the 3D shapes independently and then build some of them from lolly pop sticks and play doh. While doing this, they talked about their properties…corners, edges, faces etc. They even made some new shapes of their own!

P2’s were reminding themselves of the names of the 3D shapes and thinking about where we see these in everyday life. We sorted them into categories and talked about clues to help us recognise them.

Way to go P2/3…keep revising the names of the shapes at home. P3’s can you tell your adults how many sides a dodecahedron has??
Next up…Time! ⏰
