What a fantastic end to Term 1 with P2/3. They earned their Gruffalo Party with a “secret star” being picked each day to earn 3 ticks on our chart. I am so proud of them!
It is truly amazing the different learning/discussions/experiences you can get out of one book. As you know, our topic is Julia Donaldson and Friends and her books send lots of fantastic messages to our little ones. The have also chuckled their way through me reading the Scots versions too! 🙈
The books bring a whole plethora of new language to the children in both English and Scots although I’m not sure when they’ll use the word “Clockleddy” again!!
The Gruffalo Crumble was a hit with some kids coming back for 3rd helpings! 😋 (Thanks to Mrs Barclay for that one! 😍)
